Amy Winehouse used to spend many a happy
time on the carribean island of St Lucia.
It was a peaceful place for the star, where she
could escape the media intrusion.

where Amy spent her holidays.

It's been reported today that Amy
had plans to adopt Dannika Augustine,
a 10 year old girl from St Lucia, before
her her untimely death last weekend.
According to several sources,
Dannika and her family had a very
 special friendship with Amy.
They all would meet up together
everytime Amy was on the island
and go horse-riding or walk along
the long sandy beaches.
Amy always wanted to have a
family of her own.

 It's such a tragedy that this dream
didn't come true for her, given her
 sudden passing. Amy was all about
love and family, she was close to
all her loved ones.
At least she's no longer in pain!

Angelina Jolie Honoured by Sarajevo Film Festival

Angelina Jolie, 36 and her long term partner, Brad Pitt
attended the Sarajevo Fim Festival  in Bosnia yesterday.
Jolie was honoured for her directorial debut with her
film, The Land of Blood and Honey, is about war
torn Bosnia during the mid 1990's.

In her acceptance speech to the crowd, Angelina said:

"There is no greater example of the strengths of the
artists and the festival that began during the war
and grew stronger every year," she added.

Angelina's film follows the love story between a
Muslim Bosniac and a Christian Serbian, at the
climax of the war. As a Global Ambassador for
UNICEF, Jolie has spent time in Bosnia over the
past few years. She has witnessed the aftermath
of the conflict, sources say that the actress was
particularly shocked that some people still haven't
returned to their homes since the war ended.
Angelina was reportedly in tears as she was
given her award at the festival. Her film
clearly struck a positive chord with viewers,
especially in Bosnia.

A source told US Weekly:

The festival director, Mirsad Purivatra
praised Jolie not only for her cinematic achievements
but also for her global humanitarian efforts

I think Angelina really deserved this prestigious
award. Elegant, charming and in touch with
global issues, this Hollywood star lives in the

Royal Wedding: Zara Phillips Marries Mike Tindall

Princess Anne's daughter, Zara Phillips has
married her English rugby player boyfriend,
Mike Tindall at a private ceremony at
Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland
this earlier this afternoon. It was truly a
royal event, from what I gather all of the
British royals were present, including
newly weds, William & Kate and of
course, Zara's grandmother,
The Queen! Mike also had some
of his rugby mates to support him on
his big day, such as Jonny Wilkinson
and Ben Foden.

No doubt the happy couple
will be off on their Honeymoon
soon. Somewhere warm perhaps!

Olly Murs Declines Geri Halliwell Duet

New Magazine UK reveals today that XFactor popstar, Olly Murs,
has turned down an opportunity to duet with Geri Halliwell.

Some might see it as a lucky escape for the rising star, yet he
might regret his decision if Geri's new album does well in the charts!

''I turned her down. I just wasn't too sure, it didn't feel right'.

This will come as a major disappointment for Ginger Spice!
Sources say she's a huge Olly fan! It seems like he didn't
want to take a risk with his own career! He writes nearly
all of his own songs, a true singer-songwriter! Perhaps it's
too early on in his music career to be thinking of
collaborations!

Olly has enjoyed relative music success, his debut album went
Double Platinum and reached No2 in the Official UK music chart.
Now he's landed himself a TV Presenting job on The UK XFactor's
spin-off show, The Xtra-Factor!

girl band of all time, The Spice Girls. In 1997, the group
cracked America, their debut album SPICE sold over
7.4 million copies stateside!
Some might say that the Spice Girls were a pop-cultural
phenomenon! The group seemed to fall apart when Geri left.

I think Olly is more likely to duet with someone like
Stevie Wonder. Somehow I think Geri will find a bigger
star to duet with! I know, perhaps her best mate,
George Michael could help her out?

From what I've heard Kirstie's really into her health drinks and

Or maybe it's all down to good quality make-up!

 

 Letterman looks really awkward and uncomfortable as Kirstie

wraps her arm around his neck! It's hard to tell whether Kirstie is about

to fall asleep or not? Her eyes seem to be wandering!! From what I've

heard she likes to joke around with people! I just hope that Letterman

saw the funny side to her quirkiness, but judging by his facial expression

in this photo, I think not! It looks like he's just taken a bite out of a sour

lemon!

 

Recently Alley got the workout of her life when she appeared on

Dancing With The Stars! After weeks of dance rehearsals, Kirstie

got her groove back! Everyone was cheering her on and despite a few

falls on the dancefloor during the live shows, Alley bounced back

to wow the judges with her salsa moves! She left the show feeling

fit, healthy and refreshed!

It's nice to see that Kirstie's got her confidence back after all

these years! She might have a few more reinvention tricks up

her sleeve!

 

I wonder what show she'll do next?

Simon Cowell Mends Rift With Cheryl Cole

The feud is over!! Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole are now friends again!
Simon and Cheryl have been texting eachother lately, after a major feud
which stemmed from Cheryl's premature departure from the American
XFactor this year. Cheryl had been really looking forward to being a judge
on the US version of the hit TV show. Simon had no choice but to fire her
due to pressures from American TV bosses. Cheryl was left
red faced and hurt by the whole ordeal, naturally she wanted
to distance herself from Cowell for a while.

 The Mirror newspaper gives us an exclusive
 text exchange between the two tv stars as they
made up with eachother:

Simon texted :“Friends again? X.”
Cheryl replied: “You’ve got a nerve!… x.”


It's reported that Simon went on to chat to Cheryl over the phone. 
Simon apologised for everything and Cheryl is said to have
forgiven him. Simon felt awful about sacking Cheryl from her 
American dream job but he has said that  he had no choice
as his hands were tied by the network. 

Cheryl's in Los Angeles at the moment working on her new
solo album. She's enjoyed great success in the UK music
scene over the past year, with big hits such as
Fight For This Love and Promise This, topping the charts!!
Cheryl is now managed by Black Eyed Peas singer,
Will Iam, who hopes to help her break into the
American music business.

There's talk that both Cheryl and Simon might meet
up in L.A to discuss future plans. I think that Cheryl
has really bounced back from her minor setback.
She's even rumoured to return to the UK XFactor, now
that her relationship with Simon is back on track!

Who knows what the future holds for Cheryl,
I think that her career will go from strength to
strength. Her band, Girls Aloud are getting
back together after a 2 year break plus
Cheryl's making another solo album!
Things couldn't be better for the
Geordie singer!

Girls Aloud singer, Kimberley Walsh, 29, reportedly will not
have anything to do with this years XFactor (UK). When Cheryl
was a judge on the UK XFactor, Kimberley helped her out at the
judges houses stage in the show, where the best contestants are
put through to the live shows.

In an interview with Buzz Magazine this week,
 Kimberley said:
“I won’t be helping out at the judges’ house this year,
I only did that in support of Cheryl,”.

Many sources claim that she's snubbing the show,
I genuinely believe that Kimberley wants to move
on with her career. Since her pop group, Girls Aloud,
took a break from the music industry, Kimberley has

She's even done her bit for charity! Along with a group
of celebs she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tazania
for BBC's Comic Relief! Now she has her own weekly

Sheryl Crow Auctions Classic Mercedes For Charity

Country pop singer, Sheryl Crow, 49, is auctioning off her
1959 Mercedes Roadster to raise money for the relief effort
in Joplin, Missouri. Joplin was badly damaged after a
huge tornado hit the town this year. Crow, a native of
Missouri, hopes to do her bit to rebuild the city.
Reports have estimated that the classic car could
sell for $500,000! Sheryl hopes to raise as much
money as possible for the charity.

The auction will take place at Pebble Beach,
California on 21st August.

Kerry Katona Speaks About Amy's Passing

publicly about the sad passing of British soul
singer, Amy Winehouse. Katona could
relate to Amy's struggles with
drugs and alcohol.

Speaking to Now Magazine UK,
Kerry reveals the parallels between
her life and Amy's life.

'Amy was so young, but I can so relate to
what she was doing. It can be so easy
to get some drugs in, have a
few drinks and lose sight of reality.'

Kerry was saddened at Amy's
passing over the weekend.
She counts herself as one of
the lucky few to survive
chronic drug addiction.

You've got to admire Kerry's

Mitch, 60, spent time with
Amy's fans outside her Camden
home in North London today.
Mitch handed out some of the
singer's tee-shirts to fans. He has
said that this is what Amy would
have wanted. Fans from all over
the world have been camped outside
the singer's home since her death hit
the headlines. Mitch and Amy's mother
Janis were very touch by all the well
wishes from Amy's fans. The couple
are observing the Jewish period of
mourning known as the Shiva.

Mitch has said that he strongly
believes that Amy died because
she did not take her Doctor's advice
to ween off the drugs and alcohol

used to large intakes of
substances. From what I've
heard this is quite common
among recovering addicts.

Mitch now plans to set up

Foundation to aid
addicts on their road
to recovery. Mitch

Chris Evans Recovers From Health Scare

Britains best known radio DJ, Chris Evans, 45, has just been given
a clean bill of health, following a cancer scare! After undergoing
a colonoscopy, doctors discovered benine growths on his bowel!
The star underwent an operation to remove the growths.
Chris is said to be doing well and in good spirits!

Evans spoke to The Daily Mail of his cancer scare:

He said:
'A couple of pesky potential future little problems
were discovered and swiftly removed, but other than that
I'm afraid you're stuck with me for a few years longer at least.
'And please, if you or anyone you know may have any worries
 down below, get them checked as soon as possible'.

Evans was really affected by this health scare!
His own father, Martin, died of colon cancer
when Chris was only 13 years old at the time.
The DJ praised the nurses and doctors who
looked after him while he was in hospital.

mend!

English Music Producer, Mark Ronson
worked closely with Amy Winehouse over the years.
Kelly Osbourne was a close friend of the star.
She flew into London from Los Angeles the other day to pay her
respects and comfort Amy's family and friends.

Later this afternoon, Amy's remains will be brought
to a North London Synagogue for a final funeral
service.

Amy Sent Her Friend To Rehab

It has emerged today in The Daily Mail newspaper
that Amy Winehouse's former stylist, Alex Foden,
claims that Amy saved his life by sending him to rehab.
The Valerie singer reportedly spent £130,000 on her
friend's treatment. Foden also had a drug habit which
caused him to lose way too much weight.
Amy could see Foden fading away, perhaps
it was at that point that Amy realised she had to save
her friend. It's true, Amy was all about love of family
and friends as her father Mitch Winehouse said!
If only she had helped herself, she might have
survived! In latter years Amy seemed like a
lost soul, she was living on the edge consumed
by her own addiction and heart-break from
her turbulent relationships.

According to her friend, Amy faced up to
her own mortality. It's eery to think that
she 'knew' she was going to die young
like some of music's great icons such
as Kurt Cobain of Nirvana and
Janis Joplin. All these music legends
were addicts, all about their music and
never liking fame!

Amy had a fear she would die young.

Foden tells The Daily Mail:

He said: 'Amy always told me she thought she
would die young and that she knew she'd become
 a part of the 27 Club.
'Although everyone around her knew it was going
to happen, it was still a shock. I've been crying
 pretty much ever since I heard.'

A private funeral for the singer will take
place today, close friends and family
are expected to attend the Jewish
service. It's believed that the singer's
remains will be cremated. In accordance
with Jewish custom, the
service is kept fairly short so the
remains can be buried or ashes
scattered.

There are reports that Sir Elton John,
Kelly Osbourne..might be at the service

Amy's Family & Friends Gather At Fan Shrine

Amy Winehouse's grief stricken parents visit Amy's
shrine, her fans have made a shrine to her memory
opposite the singer's appartment in Camden town,
London. Friends, family and fans have left floral
tributes, personal messages and candles in her
memory. Today Amy's father reportedly said
he was touched by the out-pouring of love for
his daughter. Mitch also went on to thank his
family and all of Amy's fans for their support
at this difficult time. For the parents their support
seems to have given them some comfort.
Amy was only 27 years old! She had so much
to live for!

Reuters reports:
Fans from as far afield as Colombia, Mexico,
Italy and Spain streamed past the impromptu shrine,
some of them unable to hold back tears.

Unfortunately addiction got the better of her in
the end. Fans continue to gather outside the
singer's Camden home. Amy was not just
an English superstar, she was a global
music hit! Amy paved the way for
upcoming artists such Adele to
break the States. Amy has
influenced a new generation
of singer/songwriters such
as Eliza Doolittle. Amy left
behind a wonderful music legacy!
Her second album,
Back to Black, was the
best-selling album in the UK in 2007,
 selling 1.85 million copies over the year.
Amy's work was well received in the
U.S.A, she won several Grammy Awards
and a Brit Award.

at JFK airport yesterday, following the shock
death of his famous daughter. Mitch saw
Amy die a little each day, he knew that
her destructive behaviour would end
in tragedy. It's such a tragedy!

A source reveals to TMZ:
Mitch was reportedly in the first class
lounge,pacing up and down as
he talked on his cell phone.

Amy would never have gone to rehab.

Amy came from a hard-working
London Jewish family. Her father

He was due to perform in New York
but was forced to cancel his gigs after
her learnt of her death,

Mitch was reported as saying that he
'will stay strong' and
'will not crack up for his family's sake'.

Singer Amy Winehouse Dead At 27

International Singing sensation, Amy Winehouse has
been found dead at her appartment in Camden,
North London. Police and emergency services
discovered the singer's body at 3:45pm
 this afternoon.

Police have yet to find the cause of death.
Amy has struggled over the years with her
alcohol and drug abuse. Some reports
alledge the singer might have died from
a drug overdose.

It's a terribly sad day for music.
She had one of the most soulful
voices I've ever heard. Her music
spoke of her own life story,
Rehab, Back to Black. A  bright light
that lived under a dark cloud!

Her father, Mitch did all he
possibly could for her!
Mitch was worried about her.
Amy was in so deep,
maybe she felt there was no
way out of her despair?

It will take time until
we fully know what really
caused Amy's death.
Everyone's shocked
by her tragic passing!
Right up until the end
Amy was performing,
she did a gig in London
in the last week to promote
her God-daughter's singing
career!

Amy had tried so hard in the last
year to get sober but things escalted
out of control. I just hope that
she is at peace now.

Schwarzeneggers United After Son's Surfing Accident!

The son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver,
Christopher, 14, spent the last number of days
 in intensive care in a Californian hospital
after a serious surfing accident on
Malibu beach! This came as
a massive shock to the family! Arnie and Maria
have put their differences aside for the moment,
to support their son!  It's reported that there's
an improvement in his health, the Doctors believe
that he will make a full recovery!
Hopefully Christopher is feeling better!

appeared on Alan Carr Chatty Man recently! Carr asked Walsh
if he could get Britney to do a song with Jedward? Walsh replied:
'I don't know whether people would want that? Would they?'.
Walsh then went on to say that meeting Britney would make
Jedward's day! Walsh mentioned that Spears is touring in
October, so who knows!?! Louis hinted that something's
in the pipeline!

ITV's award winning daytime panel show is facing a struggle

 The show will see a major reshuffle in the coming months,
 it's reported thatMaths genius, Carol Vordermann!
 However a new face on the Loose Women panel
might not suit all concerned!
Carol McGiffin revealed on Alan Carr Chatty Man
 (Channel 4 talk show) this week that she feels Vordermann
might be too 'upmarket' for the show.

drop in ratings for ITV's hit panel show:

'The massive drop has left bosses worried the 12-year-old

ex-wife, Camille are finalising custody
arrangements!
The pair went through 
a very bitter public break-up!
Camille went to star in a reality show
about famous Hollywood wives!

For her the show was a great way
 of 'airing' her  frustrations

Now it seems like the ex-couple
have mended some bridges, at least for
now! They both love their kids!

yesterday when suddenly a Protester/
Comedian ran up to Mr Murdoch Snr
and tried to hit him with a custard pie.
This was when his wife, Wendi hit the
protester! The man was arrested by
police, however he didn't get off
lightly! While the handcuffed
attacker waited outside the chamber,
Mrs Murdoch allegedly took the
remains of the custard pie and threw
it into his face! Nobody messes with
her man and gets away with it!!
For all we know she might have
learnt martial arts! She's got those
lethal moves! After this incident, I
think people will think twice before

The Popstar flew into Ukraine to perform
at a private wedding party hosted by a local

Jennifer is reportedly pocketing a million bucks
