Britney Spears picked up
2 MTV VMA awards this week!


Britney's back!!! What a difference a year
makes! She shined at the MTV video music
awards this week! Brit look flawless,
fresh faced and smiley!

Her music career is going from strength to
strength! She was awarded 2 MTV VMA's
for Best Pop Video & The Michael Jackson
Video Vanguard Award! Very prestigious
indeed!!

It's alledged that the singer went through
a meltdown only a few years ago. I think
it's only this year that we can see that she
gained that sparkle in her eyes! Nice to
see that she's in a good place in her life
now!

Britney attributes her happiness and
overall well-being to her father,
James ('Jamie') Spears,
who stood by the popstar
during and after her meltdown.

A insider, close to the star
told Star Magazine:

"Britney now recognises
that if her father hadn't stepped
 in and taken the action he had,
 well, Britney is now crediting
Jamie (Britney's Father)
 for saving her life."


Her dad controls her estate
to protect her assets and
basically look after her
as best he can!

Britney has really bonded
with her dad over the past
few years- they're now closer
than ever! How sweet!
