American rapper, Vanilla Ice, real name,
Robert Van Winkle, 43, is best known
for his No1. dance hit, Ice Ice Baby!
He was only 16 years old when his
song topped the global music charts.
In effect, Ice was a child star!
Ice has seen his own career rise and
fall over the years. Now Ice fears that
Justin Bieber could face a similar fate!

Ice spoke to the Huffington Post about
Justin Bieber:

Ice says:

"Something else new will
come along and Justin Bieber be forgotten'

(Huffington Post-Vanilla Ice-
                     Star Magazine)

The difference with Justin is that
he has had several No1 selling
singles! It's down to his highly
skilled creative team who help
him out behind the scenes!
Fame doesn't seem to phase
him at all. At 17, he's still
very grounded. In the past year
he was almost crushed by fans
who got too close to a barrier.
No major damage was done, other than
some minor bruises! It could have
happened to any star!

Back in the 90's Vanilla ICE had fame and riches
beyond his wildest dreams!
It was all very much short lived success.
The dream turned into a nightmare as ICE
plunged into a dark depression. ICE alledgedly
struggled with drugs and alcohol.
Life out of the lime-light proved lonely.

For a long time Ice was a lost soul,
until he reinvented himself as a
Reality TV star, appearing on
numerous MTV shows.

In 2010 Ice collaborated
with Irish twin double act,
Jedward, on their
single debut,
Under Pressure
(Ice Ice Baby)
The song went to
No1 in Ireland and
No2 in the U.K.
Ice was grateful for
the opportunity as it
gave him a lot of well
needed publicity in
the United Kingdom.

You've got to respect
the ICE man for looking
out for a young rising
popstar! Fame can be
a fickle thing! It comes
and goes! Ice is being
realistic! I think that
Bieber fever is here
to stay as long as
the fans stand by him!
