TMZ have just reported that
Jennifer Lopez and her husband,
Mark Anthony have split up!
This shocking revelation has just
been made official by JLO! I'm
in shock now!! I never expected
this couple to break up! They
seemed so good together! It's
going to be tough on her twin
children! They're only youngsters!
TMZ reports (Copyright TMZ 15/07/11):
''The couple just released a statement,
claiming, "We have decided to end our marriage.
This was a very difficult decision.
We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters."
The story was first reported on People.com.
This will be Jennifer's THIRD divorce -- she was first
married in 1997 to Ojani Noa, and again in 2001 to
her backup dancer Cris Judd. This will be Marc's second divorce''.
It all seems so strange! None of us ever noticed any strain in their
public persona! In a recent interview with Channel 4's Alan Carr
Chatty Man show, JLO seemed very relaxed talking
about her marriage. Marc and JLo have been married for about
7 years now! It's a bit odd that the break up should happen now,
seen as they renewed their wedding vows only last year!
Lopez and Anthony put on a show of unity recently when
they had a brief vacation with their twins in London.
If they go ahead with a full divorce, I hope that they
will keep things cival for their children's sake!
Hollywood has seen it's fair share of famous divorces!
Several stars have married time and time again!
I really was convinced that JLO and Anthony
had shared something very special between them!
With JLO's busy work schedule this year on
American Idol, I wonder whether the long
working hours at the studio left JLO
emotionally and physically tired?
Being away from her husband couldn't
have been easy! It's only natural in these
circumstances that couples slowly
grow apart! They stop talking to
eachother... JLO and Anthony
now face a long legal process!
Divorces are messy! It helps that
they've parted on amicable terms!
When it comes to financial settlements,
the money will be divided equally.
Individually, the parents are both
equal bread winners! JLO and Anthony
are both accomplished singers/actors.
Both of them will always be devoted
parents! Whatever happens they will
always put the kid's welfare first!
Nothing has changed there!!!!
What's clear is that even the most perfect
relationships have their flaws! Nobody's
perfect! Even the biggest names in
Hollywood!! I hope they'll stay strong
during this testing time!
