Former Eastender's actress, Natalie Cassidy is considering
getting back together with her ex-partner, Adam Cottrell.
The couple first met eachother at the Isle of Wight Festival,
well over a year ago. Before his encounter with Cassidy,
Cottrell was a very ordinary guy with no
connections to the world of showbiz and media.
So you could say that he lived a fairly sheltered life, away from
the media spot light! However when he met the love of his
life, everything changed! He couldn't leave his house without
spotting an a Paparazzo on a street corner. I remember watching
their reality show on TV at the time, the media scrutiny seemed
to anger him a lot! Obviously people can't help who they fall in
love with! He was in love with Natalie, the person and not
Natalie the famous British actress off the TV! It all seemed
genuine, no way a P.R stunt! Natalie felt like she was swept
off her feet by this 'great' guy!
It's only months ago that they were both on the verge of
their wedding day. They both seemed to be madly in
love with eachother. Adam appeared to be the devoted
partner, as seen through the eyes of a viewer of their
reality show! Attending to her every need while she
was expecting their first child together! It was a
very special moment for Cassidy as she lost her own
mother to breast cancer when she was much younger.
The prospect of becoming a new mother was exciting
for her! She now had a passport to happiness!
Unfortunately, off screen the relationship differed.
Things got messy when Adam alledgedly hit
Natalie with a slipper during a heated arguement at their
family home. Natalie was obviously very shaken up by
the incident! She feared more for the safety of her
new born baby than for herself. That's why she
called the police about the incident. Luckily
Cassidy was not seriously injured but she could
not afford to let Cottrell get away with such
aggressive behaviour! I think any woman
in her situation would have taken a zero
tolerance stance!
For Natalie the worst part of the ordeal
was that their 10 month old baby daughter, Eliza was
in the same room at the time of the arguement.
Natalie looks very drained these days, you can
understand why! Normally she would hardly
touch a cigarette but since the ordeal, she has
taken up the habit again to releave the stress!

Meanwhile ,Cottrell faced prosecution
but Cassidy dropped the charges against
him. He gets to see his daughter but
he must not have prolonged contact
with Natalie, for her own safety!
However, Cassidy revealed the truth behind their relationship:
“He’d look at me in such a way that I’d just panic.
I thought he’d get up and shout or throw a drink in
my face so when he shot me that look my heart used to sink.”

Their relationship got very public when Cassidy announced that
she was pregnant, suddenly Cottrell became a 'celeb' if you will!
Clearly Natalie still loves him, however he's going to have to
clean up his act, get some anger-management therapy and
beg on his knees for forgiveness! Poor Natalie, I just hope
that things work out for both of them!
