Latin Pop Singer, Ricky Martin, 39, has revealed on ITV's
This Morning that a crazed fan once went to desperate lengths
to get his autograph! The singer reveals that he was staying
in a hotel at the time of the incident! The fan went through the
air-duct above Ricky's hotel room! From what Ricky says, it sounds
like there was more than one fan! Notice he refers to the fan as
'they'! It's not surprising that fans will do anything to meet their
idol! But Ricky was so gracious about the incident! The fans were
greeted by the singer to pose for photos and sign autographs!
I can't help but wonder how lax the hotel security must have been!
Fans got access to the star without being caught on camera!
For bigger celebs like Lady GaGa, I think that such a breach
of security would be a disaster! Fans are great by in large but
the last thing a star needs is crazed fans!

Ricky spoke to  ITV's This Morning about the incident:
"(I was) walking around my room naked and I hear this (noise).
I'm like, someone is in this room. They were in the vents.
They found a way to get into the ventilation of the room.
But you know what, I had to take a picture with them,
and (sign) autographs and everything,
because really they were... I'm still talking about it.

It's not the first time fans have gained
unauthorised access to a star! A few years
ago, British Popstar, George Michael was
stalked by a fan at his home in London!
The singer heard noise from under his
kitchen floorboards, most people would
assume it's mice but this time a middle-
aged female fan greeted the star! However
George was freeked out by the incident and
even reportedly paid for the fan's therapy
sessions!

Stars love their fans but sometimes
it's best not to surprise them!
